SPUR58
SPUR58 is composed of band mates Chad Martin, Steven Bush, Guy Roberts, Jimmie Ingram and Aaron Ivey. The band started in Houston, Texas, where Ivey was a youth pastor leading worship. "I was really passionate about music and speaking into people's lives in that way. Leading worship was my job, but I felt like I was supposed to share that outside just one church. The key was finding some guys who saw this with the same heart and passion."
It wasn’t too long before Ivey had his wish fulfilled and SPUR58 began to take the stage with their rocky sound. Through their journey to the mainstage of American Christian rock, SPUR58 has worked to create community among music fans, believers as well as non-believers. They do this through honest thoughts on worship through a powerful, melodic blend of guitars and piano.
Join SPUR58 with Student Life as they seek to drive home the idea that life is about more than going through the motions; everyone's life has a purpose. The band ultimately hopes that people will hear God's call, wake up and respond with worship through their own real life stories.
